Why do I need recovery gear?

Whether you're traveling alone or in a group of mates, having a selection of recovery gear to take on most situations is paramount when heading off road, you can never be too prepared for the unknown.

A simple recovery with the right gear and know-how can be a quick exercise and youre back on your way, but without the right recovery gear you could be stuck in your situation for days, turning an easy off-road getaway into an expensive nightmare.

A few things to consider when selecting the right kit for your 4wd 
- Do I own a winch
- Will I be going 4wding alone or with other people
- Will I be in an area that has objects or other vehicles to recover off
- What rated recovery gear do I have or require for a safe recovery
- Am I replacing my recovery gear as my current setup is old and frayed

It is recommended that the minimum breaking strength of the strap should be between 2 and 3 times the gross vehicle mass (GVM) of any vehicle it is used with. It is advised that the strap must be suited to the gross vehicle mass (GVM) of the lighter of the 2 vehicles used in the recovery process.

The Diesel Doctor Australia is unable to provide an estimated time of delivery. If you will be unavailable to sign for the delivery at your home address, we recommend nominating a work or other suitable address where a member will be present during deliver hours (Approx. 8:30am-5:00pm). In the instance someone is unavailable to sign for your delivery, our carriers will leave a card and you will be required to contact our carrier directly to make alternative delivery arrangements.

Please inspect your parcel and its contents carefully on delivery. If you find any item missing or damaged, please contact us and we will provide immediate assistance. 

The Current delivery window for normal sized parcels is 3 to 7 Business Days. However, postage delays may occur during the busy seasons. Postage charges may apply on various items that are oversized or for delivery outside the following metropolitan areas in all states of Australia.

We are happy to exchange any product purchased Online as long as the product is returned in its original condition (unopened and unmarked packaging), and is accompanied by proof of purchase in the form of a tax invoice/receipt and/or packing slip. Delivery charges are not refundable for incorrect choice, and products are to be returned to the store at the customer's own cost.

In order to process your exchange of goods, please be sure to include a note or email correspondence explaining the reason for the return, the item you wish to exchange it with, as well as your daytime contact telephone number so that our Customer Service Team are able to contact you to arrange delivery of the exchanged item (postage charges apply). We will replace any item that has arrived Damaged or is Missing from your order at no cost to you, any faults or missing items must be reported to us via eBay within 48 hours of your package being signed for.
