It took one of our experienced exhaust technicians just seconds to realise there are gains to be had by fitting a performance exhaust system. After careful experimentation, we arrived at the conclusion that a 3” exhaust was the best option for the Colorado, offering the best power \u0026amp; torque, the fastest turbo spool, and the greatest reduction in exhaust gas temperatures.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAfter fitting the exhaust to the Colorado, we saw around a 5 – 10% gain in power and torque, while exhaust gas temperatures dropped dramatically.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWe could then see the potential for increased power by tweaking the fuelling and boost, taking advantage of the increased exhaust size, but staying well within the safe limits of the Colorado.
