The advanced foam formulation of the JLM Performance DPF/GPF Cleaning Spray ensures extended contact time and optimal adhesion to the internal filter structure, allowing deposits to be loosened and dissolved more thoroughly. The product restores the full flow capacity of the particulate filter, enabling exhaust gases to pass freely again without back pressure.
Vehicles that are mainly used for short journeys or are rarely driven on motorways often fail to reach sufficient exhaust temperatures for proper particulate filter regeneration. How To Use
1. Shake well before use and keep the aerosol can upright during the procedure.
2. Bring the engine up to operating temperature, then switch it off.
3. Remove the temperature sensor and/or pressure sensor.
4. Insert the spray tube with special nozzle into the opening facing the particulate filter.
5. Spray the entire contents of the can as foam into the DPF or GPF.
6. Refit the temperature sensor and/or pressure sensor.
7. Regenerate the particulate filter using diagnostic equipment or by taking the vehicle for a test drive.
8.Check the engine management system for fault codes and clear them if present.
